Why Richmond And North Kingston

Safe And Secure

Safety is the top priority for my family. Back in the day when I first moved to Richmond it was not considered the No.1 place to live in the UK. However., it was the 2nd safest place to live in London. Today, Richmond is the No.1 borough in London for safety.

Outstanding Schools

Quality of education was the 2nd priority for my family. Richmond and North Kingston offer some of the best primary and secondary state schools in the country.

Every year 6-10 students from each of these Ofsted-rated secondary schools are offered places at Oxford or Cambridge university.

Recreational Spaces

Quality family time was our 3rd priority. Richmond’s multiple parks and greens (my kids favourite places after school), river walks (Chesters favourite – he’s my dog!), golf courses (where you will find my husband), stables, cycling clubs, paddle boarding on the Thames, bars, restaurants, cinema and coffee shops, Richmond really does offer it all. And better yet, all within easy walking distance.

Commuting

At the time, both my husband and I were working in central London (he still is), so it was important that wherever we decided to live needed to have efficient links to the city. Richmond Station offers District Line, Overground and South Western Railways. Just 16 minutes to Waterloo – that’s all it takes!
